Building Relationships
In our classroom, we encourage safe exploration, the building of relationships with the teachers and the other children, as well as their budding independence. We observe the children, their likes, dislikes, and we build our curriculum around these observations in order to support learning and development.
One is such a wonderful year to explore!
At this age, your child is excited to learn more about the world around them. Our class focuses on integrating play with more structured learning opportunities, such as circle times, independent and group art projects, and early science projects.
Creative learning through making and moving
Some of our learning outcomes include strengthening sensory development, large motor movements, language development, body part recognition, animal names and sounds, and an understanding of following classroom routines.
